- Nolanator retains #1, yet again!
- KaDaver, Swanny and IronMaiden didn't lose a match today.
- Swanny announces that he will tie Malone today for the lead in Eagles on tour this year. It only took him one hole, draining the putt on #1 for the 3 on the par 5. He now sits with Malone tied with 3.
- Doggies today were reported enthusiactically by Swanny and awarded to Duke on #3, ToothFairy on #7, Woodsy on # 9 and Chilly on #16 (6 inches from the cup)
- IronMaiden,once again entertained the Slammers with the evolution Physio Skins report and awarded birdie-skins to Duke #5, Chilly #16, Woodsy #4 and #9, BigTee #12 and #14, Nolanator #2 and #10. There was one more skin awarded to Swanny for his EAGLE on #1!
- As 3 dogs were spotted near the 3rd hole running around and jumping into the water, one of them stoped and started to drag the flag with his mouth as it lay on the green while Chill was about to putt.

Summary
What can you say about Canadian Golf and Country Club. Dale and his staff are top notch and they are always very welcoming and supportive when the Slammer Tour arrives. Challenges and match-ups become very meaningful in these last couple of weeks in the 2012 season. Everyone jostles to get themselves into prime position to vie for the "Top Slammer" in their respective divisions at seasons end when The Canadin hosts the final event of the season. Read up on the rules for qualification in the Slammer Tour e-mail sent out last week, and be sure to challenge strategically so that you don't get left out in the cold.

I'm sure this guy is only concerned about keeping his streak alive. What streak, you ask? Well just name it...birdies, skins, wins(100% winning percentage), defending #1, and the most important one to him, 1st Star Honours, and for the 7th time this season!(He's only played 8 events) Nolanator's pants were hanging half way down his butt in sporting teen fashion on the first tee. I'm not sure if his mother(ToothFairy) told him to pull his pants up, but he certainly did, out on the course that is. He first took out Woodsy on 13, then Ticklar and Chilly on the 14th. Their thoughts of #1 today were but a dream. 2 birds held up for 2 more skins to add to this new phenom's stats page. Great 1st star weekend! |

Big Tee, as he regularly does, stepped back to the yellow (blue)tees on a tough course. Well it didn't have any negative impact on his game today. BigTee(Dr Hook?) earned a defense win and 2 upset victories over ToothFairy, Chill and PizzaMan, on the 15th, 16th and 17th hole, which vaulted him into the top 10. Birdies on 6, 12 and 14 earned him 2 skins today and 2nd star honours! Well done! |

It is always fun to see how the Slammer rookies handle the November events on the Slammer Tour. It is not a time for fair weather golfers, and Duke was not rattled by the conditions today. TheEnigma was dismantled on 13, BearCat was snared on 17 and the 3-0 sweep occured at the hands of the "Noun", Grumpy with the upset on 17. Duke earned the Dog on #3 and then birdied the tough 5th for the skin as he cruised to a 3rd Star performance. |
