- Timbowski is the virgin rookie, who vows to be back a lot sooner than his last action, wins his first match albeit by default over Boomer to start his career ranked 110.
- Quite a joking group today! Some of you have heard from Cracker and his Bonzai, Bonzai!(maybe on multiple occasions).
- Well there were also quite a few Greek jokes, and I wouldn’t approve of that, normally BUT they were coming from our Greek brother … Greek navy, Greek leaving home, and returning.
- Thank you Mulder (first time OC tomorrow at Edelweiss) for handling the REAL FANS skins report. Inch and Irons each with a birdie, and BigGuy with a par. Steel Crazy had three pars that were good enough for 11 bones each.
- The Culligan Water doggies were collected and reported by the OC, who would like to remind you all to give it a try.
- Nobody tell Pickle but Grumpy lost his 8700th bone today!

Summary
Well, yesterday’s event was #291 for the season. A record, and three more today. They are not Slamming in Ireland but there are Slammers there as well. Today at Prescott, what a field! Two guys playing in their 11th seasons. One slammer closing in on event #600. Three guys that played their 100th last week to earn a free Slammer shirt. Two well liked sophomores, both closing in on their 100th also. One of our married couples (she the first TC champ crowned this season, also both in year two – with more events this year than last). An Ottawa Sun Scramble past champ. One virgin Slammer finally playing, after registering 1765 days ago, and four other rookies. We come out to play today, and remind everybody about the leaf rule (Oct rule – E5), and this OC is very confident that the other special rule here gets honoured. Hole twelve (rule D-2) tee blocks were honoured and complied by all.

There was never a MORE obvious choice. A B score and three upsets moved him from 112th to 46th rung on the Slammer ladder. He left a doggy ball on #17, but got cut off. He had the only par on hole #13 for the skin, (which is only his 11th in his career). Orange Crush was his first victim, this was their rubber match and she shook his hand after fourteen. Two holes later he beat RonBow in their inaugural match to climb 30 steps up the ladder. On hole eighteen he beat Steel Crazy for the first time in three tries. It advanced him another 26 steps up and made him the number one D class Slammer again. |
