Notables

Notable: Smitty does everyone a favour by sending an e-mail to Lucky looking for a ride. Good thing he did as Lucky was completely unaware that he was even playing at Dragonfly never mind OCing the event.
Notable: McGoop, in an effort to fend off losing to Smitty, doesn't go out on a limb.....no not McGoop, he goes out on the ice and plays a nice recovery shot.
Notable: Burnsy, who also has three birdies on his card, eagles #9 only to have Smitty cut him off.
Notable: Thanks to Bubba, with assistance from Dr.Pepper, for handling the skins and to IM for doing the doggies. Great help is always appreciated.
Notable: Thanks to Metro for graciously giving up his run at Sunshine and moving up to fill a gap in another group.
SKINS: A total of six skins on the day all a result of birdies, Smitty on #1 & #14, Burnsy on #3, IronMaiden on #7, Juice on #13 & McGoop on #17. Each skin was worth $13.00 with $2.00 for the kids.
DOGGIES: On the par 3s today it was Sunshine on #5 (9ft), Smitty on #7 (10ft), Juice on #13 (2 1/2ft) and Metro on #18 (18ft) @ $21.00 each and $1 for the kids

Summary
Well the 2nd Slammer outdoor event of 2015 on Canadian soil saw a heavy dose of warmth and sunshine and along with it smiles and happiness were in abundance. With the superb weather came many solid performances. So many that selecting the day's three stars was extremely difficult. In fact we could have easily have had six stars on the day. What a great lead in to another great Slammer season.

	Smitty
	What a start to the season for this Slammer. Whatever rust there might have been in his game after the winter hibernation somehow got well oiled before he hit the first tee. He goes 2-0-1 on the day pushing McGoop all the way to the 18th where he held on for the half. Along the way he has an eagle, three birdies, one doggie and two skins. Smitty claims first star honours in his first outing of the year.
	Metro
	Pulled away from his challenge of Sunshine at the last minute, Metro makes it a personal mission to take down Bobo and Snafu. It was mission accomplished as he goes 2-0 and has himself a birdie and a doggie for good measure. Well done.
	Juice
	This slammer kept up the pace she set at the end of last year. She crushed her two male opponents and could only be held in check by IronMaiden who garnered a half in their match. She tallied a birdie, a doggie and a skin to cap off a solid weekend of golf.
