Summary
The weather was not overly co-perative for the 10 slammers who played in the afternoon half of a double header in Eganville, but the sun did pop out on occasion and the rain was less prevalent this time around the circuit. Whitetail is one of the hidden gems up the valley and many Slammers were not to be deterred by Mother Nature and made the trek out to enjoy great vistas, fun elevation changes, challenging water holes, the usual great camaraderie and great Ottawa Valley hospitality. We managed to tee off on time at 230pm and the pace was so good we were all on the road by 735pm after two event reports.

Not only did the Iron Maiden go 3-0, she defended the 4 seed she earned in the first 18 of the day. She also walked away with 15 skin bones for her 3 skins. And all this after walking a very hilly 27 holes. Well earned first star. |

Irons once again showed up without a Driver or a Wood and went 2-1, had a birdie, 2 dogs (worth 24 dog bones) and a skin (worth 5 skin bones). He showed up to play and held his own teeing off with a 2 Iron on all but the par 3's. |

Big Thunder went 2-0 and had a bird on the day after he was on the winning Links and Rinks team. Just making it to Eganville was worthy of this star. |
