 Notables - Four par threes today, a driver was used nine times and some from the yellow tees. We had a total of only six pars... BUT only one was worth 40 bones!
- Thank you to GolfGeek for your QuickSnap Doggie report. I especially liked your "Wear the shoes you want - with QuickSnap!" However, maybe it was your three jack on nine, matching mine on fifteen.
- ChocoMan seems to be vying for an OC position. Contacting course management about getting off earlier, and trying to run the report in the nineteenth.
- Thanx AGAIN Mulder for your being a REALFAN and giving another great skins report. It even included this quotable - that will appear twice ... "If you got a bogey you may have won a skin" "I LIED I got the bogey skin!"
- My favourite notable today is about the Tour and it's nicknames. Some people don't like them but MOST go along and very many may even adopt beards to match theirs.. Or doggy balls! Potter, our host isn't even sure how his came about, but yesterday I heard three different BCC members refer to him as Potter!
- MILESTONE ALERT - Potter went 3-0 and with his second victory (vs BC) - he scored his 300th career point. Scrazy's par skin on the third hole was the 50th of his career. BearCat recorded his 25th.

Summary
What the HAIL was that! At least it wasn't like they had in Collingwood. Don't dismay all you weather watchers - it was still a great golf day and gave us a chance to use various pieces of equipment. He has OCd, he has an OC in his alter alter ego chOComan, and yes I am talking about Johnny Davies (pronounced Davis - for all of you following back home and may not be aware of Welsh pronunciations.

WOW!!! Not only did he have all of the birdies today. How many events have you been at - where he had a skin? He has only had seven of them in his career. Well today - he had three of them. This Brockville first timer did a rare feat - he beat the course. Another reason for his star - at brunch, Debbie the server asked him for his phone number. He beat GolfGeek for the first time, and although by our ladder it was NOT an upset, the prognosticators state that it was. Or maybe it is the fact that SteelCrazy said "He took me to 18!". The six of eight that walked get an additional point. The five at brunch get an additional point (Kookie said that I could have hers!). BearCat was the only one that sunk a putt (four footer) through the hailstones to get an additional point. |
