Summary
It has been a couple of weeks since we had a Slammer Thursday at PineView. What can I say about PineView and the Slammer event? The service is accommodating and simply first class from the proshop, starter, marshalls, cart service and the 19th hole. The course is in outstanding condition and ready and receptive for fall golf. The carpet-like fairways allow one to take nice divots and the quick true greens makes putting so enjoyable. Sunny blue skies with no rain or wind and fall like temperatures complement the great course conditions. Another enjoyable day Slammin' at PineView. Thanks to my fellow Slammers! Your OC, KC.

You may remember Charlie Ono from last year. He's from away and loves to visit his buddy Biscuit Oshumka and play the Slammer Tour. He played in his 11th career event today and he celebrates by going undefeated with wins over Duke, Biscuit Oshumka and a default win over Shananagan. He takes a skin, jumps into the top 20, breaks the 90 barrier and records his Slammer career best round! CONGRATS!! |
