Summary
Although a bit chilly first thing, everything warmed up throughout the round. There was a one and a half hour frost delay, but the two groups ahead moved quickly and allowed the professionalism of Slammer Tour players to play a four hour round. Well done fellow Slammers !! The clubhouse stayed open just for us, hence, many thanks to Metcalfe Golf Course for that. Rob, if you are reading this, please pass it along, as many courses shut down, regardless. Many thanks !! People looked at us today with looks in their eyes that could only be read as...."these guys nuts?". Little do they know the Slammer Tour players...dedicated, devoted, and yes.....nuts. But alas, golf is like an addiction...so you people who don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs...you are still an addict, so just admit it! All's in fun...many thanks, y'all....Papa Malone
