Notables

Gazzif was crowned best dressed Slammer with his orange golf ensemble and really cool straw hat. He declined the prize.
Par for today was 71 as the 14th was played as a par 3 and the roadway bordering it was the only access to the hole.
We had no rain, although it was forecast. As Slammers we don't care about monsoons.
DJ shot under 80, in only his 4th game of the year, but still lost all matches.
Grumpy protested something we don't remember during the presentations, it was considered by the committee, and dismissed forthwith.
The best smoker was not one of many with stogies, but Flyer, who wins a pack of cuban cigarettes, estimated to be worth less than $1.
The Slammer secret code for this event is 71,77,79,81,89,90,91(2),92,99(2),100. That totals 1060 !
Culligan Water Dogs were graciously presented by Crenshaw who awarded them to Grumpy, Cuba, Crenshaw, Crenshaw and Crenshaw.
Evolution Physio Skins were calculated by Grumpy, with a printing assist to Casselview. There were 9 skins worth $6 each awarded to GoTee, DeeJay, DeeJay, GaspeBoy, GaspeBoy,GaspeBoy, GaspeBoy,GaspeBoy and GaspeBoy.

Summary
We 12 competitors arrived to an overflowing river fronting the first and tenth tee boxes, and having to walk a par 5 distance to the driving range. The woman's 10th tee box was an island. So what ! The rest of the course was perfect and the last group Slammed in 4 hours and 10 minutes. The first group was finished many holes ahead of the rest, even with Grumpy slowing them down.

	GaspeBoy lapped the field as he went 3-0 with 6 birdies and a bunch of skins, some of those coming from pars. He was literally N.B.T. (not beatable today) His playing partners even had fun getting slaughtered because he is a good guy !He wins a bottle of aged Cuba rum.
	BearCat
	Two weeks in a row for Bearcat to garner 2nd star at Casselview. This week he was undefeated and jumps to 33rd in the rankings, becoming a huge target !
	Newfie
	Newfie has a 3-0 record for the day by the 16th hole, and climbs 59 spots in the rankings. There were quotables from anonymous golfers, and we suspect a player named Newfie may be responsible for some repartee.

Best aspects of course: So what that 35 mm of rain fell the night before, the drainage system worked spectacularly, and we could have played the ball down if need be. We didn't. OK, lets go with excellent greens too ! Maybe the welcome we get is the best part !
