 Notables - Welcome to newbie and first time Slammer Fish ! Also, even though Hoss appeared on the stats page this is his very first Slammer event as last time he inski'd he had to withdraw with back pain issues. Welcome to the Slammer Tour !
- NOTABLE: Some slight modifications of the star selection that was announced live on the 19th hole. Fish and ZenGirl's match was originally recorded as a tie however ZenGirl won that match on the 18th. Fish still had a terrific first event with two wins, a doggie and will start his Slammer career ranked at # 33. Well done!
- CULLIGAN DOGGIES: Five doggie holes with the following doggie winners today: Flagondry (#2, 5ft), Fish (#7, 18ft), Juice with the next two at 8ft (#9 & #12) and the last one to Switch (#17, 17ft) @ 16 bones each
- DYNAMIC PHYSIO SKINS: Another four skin day and yes SRR all with birdies...with one each to Guinness, Stevie Ray, ZenGirl and Switch @ 17 bones a piece
- Thank you to our Doggie master PizzaMan who did volunteer today of his own volition and to ZenGirl who did double skins mastery duties this weekend at both events she was playing at. Great job and so very appreciated!

Summary
The Slammer Tour has not made a stop at Le Sorcier since June 18th., 2012 and so many changes were noticed. The clubhouse has been spruced up and as ZenGirl noted, the washrooms and ladies change room look like a spa! With only a half hour drive from Ottawa, some of us arrived at Le Sorcier a little earlier than expected and were able to lounge on the patio sipping beverages and admiring the view prior to heading out on the course. The marshalls saddled up all four Slammer groups and directed us as a group to the first tee so everyone was there to witness as Adrian Campbell, now known as Fish, took his inaugural drive on the Slammer Tour. Great day!

Flagondry was playing in his 12th Slammer event this season and is already racking up some fine stats as a solid B Classer. Today he defended against rookie Hoss and with the upset wins over Pearls and Pepilepu will be moving from 149 to 43 in the Slammer ranks! Two birdies and a doggie on the first par three today top off a great day. There is no butterbee but there is a Flagondry ! |

Stevie Ray Ryan has given us so many Slammer terms, StevieRayisms we call them. My favorite is "the omnis", meaning the omnipresent. Definition: The public group that is basically up your butt the entire round or the marshall that never goes away. Well SRR has been an omni on the Slammer Tour and today makes his mark with the defence against Shortstack and PizzaMan and the upset win over IronMaiden. Five points, two birdies and a skin will be added to your stats sir. Well done! |

This Slammette is also an omni on tour and for those that aren't aware, our ZenGirl is a "Tour builder" as one of the first female Slammers to play on the Slammer Tour. Always a star in my eyes, my Sun Scramble partner is readying herself for our big day on August 21st at eQuinelle playing some fine golf today defending against Fish and Switch and recording the draw with fellow Slammette Juice. A birdie good for a skin took care of her dinner bill ! Nice ! |
