 Notables - QUICK SNAP DOGGIES: Whitetail is the only course I am aware of in the area that starts off with a par three and Grasshopper sticks one to 18ft to take the first doggie of the day. IronMaiden follows up taking the next two on holes 8 & 11 and Irons takes the last one on the 17th hole - Doggies were 7 bones a piece

Summary
Always fun when we get to play 36 at Whitetail Golf Club in Eganville and even though the weather was a little difficult the six Slammers who showed up on the first tee trucked on as Slammers do. We were set for two foursomes but a phone call from Shortstack gave us the heads up that he and buddy Jumpin Jovo would only be joining us for the second event. Something about chandeliers. SIA must have inspired the Stack's celebrations from the big Rinks and Links win yesterday. Conditions were a little tough but we made it through a full round with steady rain and a stiff breeze. Way to go Slammers, impressive as usual with your willingness to play through anything. Happy I was a part of it, IronMaiden

Shorts had a great start to his double event day defending against YoungGun and recording the upset wins over IronMaiden and Irons to start off his afternoon ranked #3 ! No birds, doggies or skins - just some solid play that earns him this new lofty rank. Congrats! |
