Summary
Another beautiful, if not hot, summer day for the regularly scheduled Thursday Pine View event. The course is in very condition making for the opportunity to score well in terms of competitive match play golf. Lots of roll as the course is reaping the benefits of the earlier in the week rain and the recent sun. The 30 matches in play today were equally split between upsets and successful defences. The outcomes of well over half of the matches were determined on the 17th or 18th hole. Some competitive match play golf out there. And the patio 19th hole was a warm comfort for those looking to quench their thirst and listen to the wrap. It was a great event for a Pine View Thursday. Such a great day that several Slammers went out to enjoy a few more holes of summer golf after the wrapup. Thanks my fellow Slammers!! Your OC, KC.
