Summary
As we all know the Slammer Tour is a great match-play golf league for all calibre of golfers. As always there were groupings composed of SLammers playing in close divisional classes coming to enjoy Slammer fellowship, and match play golf. Course conditions were super making for scoring. Wow an O/A group, a B/C group, a A/B group and a catch all group. Beautiful, summer weather and great match play Slammer performances at a regular PineView Thursday. Only 2 upsets and 19 successful defences under these summer skies. And as always, the 19th hole performance allowed all to recap the event and matches. As a special treat, a half a dozen long ball hitting Slammers showed off their talents on the 10th hole much to the amazement of the remaining Slammers and the public at large after the wrap up. Overall a super Slammer event in the books. Your OC, KC.

	Today 1st star has the golf round of his career. KC goes 3-0-0 against 2 Bs and a C for his undefeated record. He registers a birdie and a skin to boot. This C Slammer registers an A score and shoots his lowest Slammer round in 13 seasons finally breaking the magic 80s barrier. Congrats!!
	McGoop
	How can the best golfer in the Ottawa region, according to most, do better than his average performance. In prep for the upcoming week, he uses today as a warmup. He goes 3-0-0 with wins against a fellow O division Slammer and 2 A Slammers. He registers 3 birdies, 1 eagle, takes home a skin and shoots even par for his round. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!
	Macdahustla (r)
	Mac is gaining a reputation for playing great Slammer golf. He goes 2-0-1 today with wins over two fellow Bs and is all square vs an A division Slammer. He has 2 birds and continues with his sweet performance over the last week. Great job!!
