QUICKSNAP DOGS: Only 2 of the 4 dogs were taken by worthy Slammers. Doggie winners on the front 9 were NOBODY and NOBODY and the doggie winners on the bacK 9 are KidsCLub (#10 @27ft) and Hazel Basil (#12 @11ft). Each dog is worth 17 bones per. CONGRATS!!

Summary
Such a great summer/perfect fall golfing day in the Ottawa region on one of the courses that has outstanding course conditions. Carleton is a challenging course to play with carpet-like fairways, quick true greens, lots of trees presenting challenges, green-side bunkers on most holes and did I mention water. Seven fun-loving, higher handicap Slammers came out to celebrate match play golf and take in the great course conditions and the outstanding summer weather. So glad to be able to spend the day with such great Slammer company and all 7 Slammers came to celebrate the Slammer event at the 19th hole. Thank you for a great day, my fellow Slammers. Should the OC be 1st star???? Not sure but when he/she goes 3-0-0, has 1 of the 2 dogs of the day, takes 4 of the 9 skins, is the big bones winner and has the low score of the day well maybe one has to seriously consider it. Okay, star points said yes, he should be the 1st star and when the other Slammers says he should be be 1st star then we can go with it. So today's 1st star is KidsClub. Sweeet! |

Gator takes the 2nd star nod as he goes 2-1-0 today. He is hitting the ball so solid as he registers the low score for the front 9 amongst all Slammers in the field. On top of his great ball striking Gator takes home 3 skins today. Congrats!! |
