Summary
What a great feeling to be back at Champlain, and a kicker, to be OCing it. Thanks to the Upper Level Management to make this ongoing event happen again. Slammers....those who have not played this course in the last several years, give it a go...it is in wonderful shape...new ownership, both the course and restaurant....they aim to please.
Today there was a forecast of rain from 7pm last night to all day today Well, I drove there in sunshine and at our tee time, there was a thunder shower which lasted a half hour and then sunshine for the rest of the day. Were you looking out your window thinking....darn...wrong again, and I could have played golf today ? Well, were you ?
