Summary
Twelve Slammers hit Champlain today and with a great pace of just over 4 hours, all three groups showed 'em that "some of these Slammers are fast!". Our noon tee off was under sunny skies with temps in the upper 20's but the forecast was for rain and thunderstorms and as the day progressed the skies darkened and threatened to open up on the Slammers. Our quick pace got us off the course, into our cars and home before the downpour started. Some great matches were had today with an even amount of upsets and defences but the birdies were few and all but two resulted in skins. Thanks to all for a great day!

An absolutely fantabulous round from our first star Chef who goes 3-0 with 2 birds that result in 2 skins. He also sticks them close today and takes home 3 of the 5 Doggies. Truely a first star effort all around as all this is accomplished by shooting even par for the course which is 4 strokes below his scoring average. Chef defends and retains the #1 spot in the Slammer ranks! Well done & Cha-Ching!!! |

A great day on the course by Bubba who wins all his matches going 3-0. All this despite a groin injury. Bubba wins his TC "C" match vs Turtle as well as his matches with PapaMalone and PacMan. All of Bubba's wins were upsets and he moves up 40 spots in the Slammer ranks. Congrats and good luck in the next round! |
