Summary
It was a late June day not unlike many in previous years, heavily overcast with the threat of rain, not too hot and just a gentle breeze to keep the bugs at bay. There was nothing about the day to indicate to the residents of this quiet community the impending peril as a hoard of Slammers descended upon its manicured greenery to pay homage to the Lord of the Three Putt. Golf, like many challenges in life is a quest, a constant search for answers to questions you never thought you would ask. Exactly how many Slammers does it take to send a deserving child to a post secondary education, apparently only 20. And now you know!

Playing injured, his ability to shoot an 84 with a $50 doggie to help ease the pain was in a word incredible. I saw where he put himself with every tee shot and to shoot an 84 from where he was and take 4 of a possible 6 points is flat out remarkable. |

- Best aspects of course: While there are alot of reasons to like this course, it's the greens you have to love and hate at the same time. Some of toughest greens out there but they deservedly earn your respect every time. A beautiful layout and top notch conditions don't hurt either.
