POP: The challenge for the 7 groups of Slammers today was to come in 4 hrs and 15 minutes of less. The first 2 groups come in at 4 hr 10 and 4 hr 15. Group 3 comes in at 4 hr and 40 which affects all of the remaining groups coming. Great job group 1 and 2. We need to work on POP for next year!
HONOURABLE MENTION to Crenshaw who goes 3-0-0 with a bird and goes sub 80. Great!!
HONOURABLE MENTION to Malone with 2 birds and goes undefeated. Rumor has it he will be the new numero uno tomorrow. Congrats!!
NOTABLE: The Slammettes tell me that it was the 1st time that there was a Slammerette foursome. Congrats!!
DOGGIES: 4 doggies @ 35 bones per going to Sunny (8 ft), KaDaver (14 ft), Bookie (17 ft) and Ruskie (14 ft). BowWow. Great job!!
SKINS: 5 skins @ 27 bones per going Sunny, Cuba, PizzaMan, Rultz and Sutty all won with birdies. Excellent!!

Summary
eQuinelle, in its first year, has earned the reputation as one of best maintained courses in the area, a must play and a Slammer Tour favourite. The day started off with a great breakfast at the Marlborough Pub and Eatery in North Gower compliments of Rulz. Twenty eight Slammers were not disappointed at the golf as we played the last eQuinelle event as the course is closing tomorrow. Lots of banter, great golf and interesting matches as these die-hard, addicted golfers celebrate the near end of a wonderful season. The staff was great bringing extra tables and chairs to facilitate the festivities of the 19th hole and the Slammer event windup. Lots of chirping, banter and plain fun as we finished off the event. The festivities continued as Juice invited all the Slammers to her place to enjoy beer, wine and spaghetti. Great event Slammers. The Tour has turned into a real Social club!!

	Sunny
	Although, Sunny the 1st star, missed the opportunity to play with the Sunshine girls, he successfully defends against the 3 Bs, Bookie, Billiards and Bubba going 3-0-0. On route he has 3 birds, takes home a skin, almost 10 holes a fellow Slammer and shoots the low round of the day. A special thanks to Sunny for sponsoring the Ottawa Sun Rookie of the Year. Slammers are you thinking who should that be? Outstanding round Sunny!!
	Grumpy
	The second star, Grumpy, played like one of the other dwarfs. He goes undefeated with successful defences against all 3 Slammer challengers. He missed only 3 fairways today. This 2009 Slammer of the Year and 2009 Engraving Plus Cup holder shoots 95 which is 13 below his scoring average. Excellent!!
	Cuba
	Our 3rd star of today's event is Cuba. He goes on a winning streak having upsets against Steamer and KaDaver, and going all square against Malone. He has 2 birds, 1 skin and jumps into the top 5. Cuba, the 2010 EG Senior Club Champ and the 2009 Ottawa Sun Rookie of the Year also provided the prizes for the 3 stars. Thanks and congrats!!
