Summary
November 20th and the Slammers are still going strong with just 1 day left in this 2K10 season! 7 groups signed up and 7 groups showed up on a sunny yet cool and very windy day. Golf can be hard under the best of conditions but at this time of year we are faced with additional challenges...and equipment! Hats, mitts, winter gloves and hardwarmers.....layers and layers. So, just for fun, lets all set up our carts, chip, putt....then get BACK in our cars and drive a mile down the road, set up again...and tee off on the 11th hole! That is what was asked of the Slammers today and not a single person complained about it! It truely is amazing what we are ready to do to get just one more round in before we pack it in for the winter months. Thank you to all for your patience and persistance. A very fun and memorable day indeed!

Our first star PointZero shows up on the first tee...well, the 11th tee... stylin' some brand spanking new shoes. Going 3-0 and taking 6 points, PZ defends against Lynksey and with the upset wins over CannyJack & DeeJay propels himself into the top 10. With 1 bird, PointZero takes home 1/3 of the skins pot. Fantastisch/super/wunderbar!
Ruskie
"Pусский" (pronounced ROOS-ski) has a great day going 3-0 defending against Steamer and Eeyore and with the upset win over Boomer jumps into the top 10. Ruskie is one of just a few who shot below their average today and takes home a doggie to top off the day. Milyj !! (Awesome!)
Burnsy
Another stellar round by Burnsy who wins all his matches defending against C-Lang and with the win against Chilly takes over the #2 position in the Slammer ranks. With 1 bird, Burnsy tops off his day taking home 1 skin. Nice!
