Summary
The hand drawn sign at the front of the Loch March clubhouse said it all: "Welcome Slammer Tour"!. There is no practice green in the area that equals the front lawn spread offered at this fantastic public course and the staff is certainly the friendliest and most professional group we have ever encountered. While the mosquitos seem to have found the ultimate breeding ground (you just have to read the quotables to get a feel of how this little pest plagued the Slammers ) it is certainly outweighed by the incredible layout with perfectly groomed fairways and greens. The friendly deers that have the run of the course also add to the whole experience. The patio overlooking the course was picturesque but the inside of the clubhouse was a welcome haven from the skeeters and that's where we summarized our event and finished off the day.

Our first star Hacker has certainly been gaining some momentum of late and today was no exception as he defends his position in the Slammer ranks with wins over Lucky and Bookie and holding off PizzaMan to take the win on the 18th to advance to the next round of the TC "B"s. Hacker adds 1 bird good for a skin and a doggie to his stats. Awesome! |

PinShark has been logging a few extra rounds on Tour this season and it's paying off...Another successful day on the course for PinShark as he goes 3-0 with upset wins over Eeyore and Rexall and the win over TJ propels him over 75 spots in the Slammer ranks and secures his position in the Commish's top 30 list! PinShark also advances to the next round of the TC "B"s with the win over Eeyore making the top 16 in this tough field. No birds today but PinShark still records a skin as he gets a good start to the back 9 and was the only Slammer to par #10. Well done! |

This rookie has had a stellar start to his Slammer career taking 6 points at every event to date and even though he suffered his very first defeat, his performance was still starworthy.
