Susan Caverley said YES! Boomer is now engaged. Congratulations KIDZ. Hey Susan, you do realize that if your 9 and dine days graduate you to the tour - there will be plenty of suggested nicknames so think of your own [Boomerette?].
MILESTONE ALERT! Boomer became the 4th Slammer to play in his 400th event. Cuba is our 31st to play in 100, and TJ is 64th to play 50.
HMs go out to Ticklar with a 3-0 record, his bird was good for a skin and he had a dog. Also getting an HM is IM. (That van will be shining all the way home, with this aMUISE-ing couple.). Maiden was undefeated and added a birdie which was a dog. The good news for the first family of the tour is that they cut off each other for a skin on 3, but KC did as well.

Talk about a couple of options - how about leaving 14 as a par three? Moving both the tee blocks and the green on 18 and making it a five.

Summary
What a welcomed sight! We arrive seeing the Commish Cup banner hanging up at our home course. Then the bad news - first time in 25 years - frost delay arrives in the morning just as they were about to start. This caused a 90 minute delay. Starter Pierre did a great job, and the Tour was only half an hour behind for its original start time. There was a full field, including rookie Popeye, and 8 inaugural 2K11 Slammers. We weren't aware of it at the onset, but today will bring about more upsets than successful defenses, causing a lot of juggling. HEY SLAMMERS - the EG Opener is May 21. A very big Slammer event as well. Just a reminder: you must ALSO sign up for it - it opens Sunday night at 9:00.

	He entered the day with a career 4-20-1 record against the field. Half of those 4 wins were indoor. Did it worry him? No way, PizzaMan's bird-par-bird start found him making the turn at +1, bettering his Slammer best 81 by 4 strokes, which of course makes this his first sub 80 round. His 77 was 10 below his average which led him to a perfect 3-0 record. Two of the wins are considered upsets according to the Tour's stats, but to this OC all three were. This leading candidate for most improved slammer played 28 events last season before having a score below this season's worst score. Congrats to our new #1, and best of luck defending tomorrow. You will be challenged by Steamer, the guy that you last wrested #1 from on Oct 17, 2009.
	Stymie
	Stymie proved what all new Slammers need to learn: how to 'challenge'. After a couple of events where he didn't upset any of those old established vets, and all of his victories were vs equally unranked newbies, he had a chat and did some. Experiment successful! He went 3-0 shooting his best slammer round, and moving all the way from 385th to 34th. We had to make sure that he didn't get the bends {good thing the the pressure remains 14.7 PSI on the ground) rising so quickly. He won bones in both his previous events with 3 dogs and a skin. Shut out from those bones today, he did get to collect 15 of them from his opponents.
	PingMan
	That cigar smoker came out SMOKING today. Not just with his cuban, but with his clubs also. His incredible front nine had only three bogies for this B/C classer. The only Slammer to not be down to him after nine was our first star. He went 3-0, shot 7 below his average, and moved up 49 rungs on the rankings ladder. Maybe the most impressive part of his day were the comments coming from KidsClub, the one opponent that he has played most often.
