Summary
With only 5 Slammer event days left until the end of qualifying for the 2011 Commish Cup, this event filled up fast and spare spots were snaggled quickly... all in hopes of bettering one's rank and making the Team! All 5 regions were represented today: TEAM WEST: Blue, RipZone, Billiards, Shooter. TEAM CENTRAL: Captain Bookie, StevieRay, Grumpy, Pommie. TEAM EAST: KidsClub, ChadderBox, IronMan. TEAM SOUTH: Malone, PizzaMan, TJ, Woodsy. TEAM QUEBEC: GrassHopper....and even a few players from the newest Guest Team - TEAM FALCON RIDGE: Toro and IronMaiden. There will be a total of 9 teams competing for the Commish Cup in 2011....will you represent and help snuff the repeat win of Team East? The Top-ten ranked as of Sunday, July 10th make the team, so sign up for an upcoming event and be sure to challenge strategically!

Our second star Burnsy also had a fantastic day adding 6 points to his stats and defending his #2 rank against Malone, RipZone and Woodsy. Burnsy truely could not have posted a better round but as our Skins master Grumpy read out his report, the results were heartbreaking! Burnsy recorded a total of 4 birds and an Eagle...but unimaginably, not one, not a single one held up for a skin. Not even the EAGLE! Burnsy, you got BURNED! |

ChadderBox continues his fine play in this, the 10th event of his rookie season. With 1 bird and going 3-0 for 6 points, ChadderBox records the upset wins over TJ, StevieRay and Shades to move up 35 spots in the ranks and put himself in good position to make his debut on Team East. But his major accomplishment this week was to become a daddy! A big welcome to the newest little Slammer, Caleb Preston, born last Friday weighing 6lbs, 12oz. Congrats! |
