Summary
I have to thank The Commish for coming up with this crazy idea to have this competitive league for misfit golfers. (sounds like a Chritmas cartoon). He got us all addicted and we can't get enough. Win, lose or draw, we all still sign up for that next event on the SlammerTour Site. What else are we gonna do, yard work, shop, garden, spend time with our wives (wait, I do)...On these few remaining beautiful, summer-like days, nothing can replace a few good matches on one of Ottawa's best tracks, a cold beverage and good conversation to cap it all off. Get out there and play Slammers, only two more months left. PS. The "Golf-O-Max Smugglers Glen Weekend" event is now open for entry. Don't miss out!

	How did this guy get out of the country. If he's an illegal Cuban immigrant, maybe we can DQ him today and get some of those Bones back. Or we can marvel at his fine play and try to get him deported before his next match. With birdies on almost one third of the holes (5), this PI took out all who stood in his way, even Popeye. Steamer, Clang and T-Bone for sure didn't see all the sub-80 rounds that this Slammer carded at eQuinelle over the summer, otherwise they may have steered clear. Two of those birds stood up for 2/3 of the skin pot today. Oh ya, and he played from the blues. Great day Magnum!
	Chef
	This Slammer tallied more Birdies 'today' than 154 other Slammers have in total. Chef sizzles, earning 6 points with his wins over 12 O'Clock and KaDaver, and the upset win over OldSpice. After a three Dog performance at Gatineau on Wednesday, he keeps the streak going with another today. He drained an impressive 4 birds on his way to, and despite the sLow gRound, but all were sliced up and cut off. He'll be tough to beat in the Open Club Championships begining next week. (Still time to sign up folks)

	He's Popeye the Sailor Man, Toot Toot. He must have eaten his spinach today because, he certainly sailed through his opponents. He won his TC C match against Grasshopper to advance to the finals and pulled off 2 upset wins over PizzaMan and Blue. He also knocked down a bird on his way to shooting an A-Class score. Olive Oyl would be impressed!
