- Notable #2… Another TC match went on today and the third star, Green Reader had an upset over Davestator allowing him to advance to the third round of the Promomedia “B” championships.
- Notable #3… Ticklar was introduced last Wednesday with 599 career losses. He went on to play 6 matches and no losses. One week later and he is still at 599, ties Malone, then finally it happens. #1 Burnsy delivers the loss when his par beats Tick’s bogey.
- Notable #4… Davestator gets introduced on the first hole “Playing in his 7th event”. Pommie quips “with his fourth nickname.” There is a move to get away from names, and Fossil is being considered.
- Notable #5… The bounce gods were working overtime for Gator today. He kept bouncing out of the sand traps, off rocks onto fairways, trees, cart paths, and all bounces seemed to be in his favour.
- Notable #6… Thank you Malone as a double header skins master.
- Notable #7… Apparently Pommie has a funny duck joke. It is even respectable enough to hear in public.
- Notable #8… Listen intently if he tells you the joke, because he gave the TanCo doggie report, and I think that he must have announced the winners because there were bones being handed out. Thank you!

Summary
Gatineau is open, including the club house, there is a familiar face behind the counter, trivia question - who is she? Sad news is that we are going to have to stay for the dry nineteenth, but rumour has it the license HAS BEEN granted. This is my first time entering the course from the new road, parking in the lot, and starting at #1. That is a tough start hole, and thankful that all golfers get to use the D exemption, I count only three original drives that have the shooter NOT hitting three.

Karter's Korners first star {hey O, I forgot to give you your bucket O balls coupon}. Well O was in the Zone today. His par on hole two was the only one and good enough to capture the first 10 Evolution Physio bones of the day. Then what? Well his bogey on 13 ended his match with Schmoeburger. Did I mention that he was playing in a rare TC double event? His bogey on 17 had him become the first person to win a match in the open division. That upset over Sunny moved him from 57 to 17 on the Slammer ladder. When pointZero missed his par putt on the same hole, Ozone also upset him to move into the top ten at #7. That match allowed Ozone to be the first victor of the 2012 "A" class of the TC. Felicitations mon ami! |

Well the fire is on and Burnsy is back, and smokin! Successfully defending his #1 rank against a pair of guys that have been there very often in the past. First to go down was the very one that he wrestled the rank from just a few days ago. Yes on #17, his birdie {which was good for a skin} ended Malone. One hole later his par was good enough to defend against Ticklar. Check the notables - to see if he delivered Tick's 600th career loss. |

This is becoming quite common. Since that day at Buckingham (May 20), where he was given his nickname, Green Reader has garnered a star for the fifth straight event. Today he went undefeated with a 2-0-1 record. His tied opponent was Pepilepu, GR needed to win the 18th hole to square the match. They both upset Davestator, and that upset on the 14th hole moved GR to #10 from 56, however because of the Ozone upset, he wont have to move to the blues. Check notable #2 on the left.
