 Notables - Notable #1... This season they created a few of the tee boxes that were only under construction. Well the first hole has some trees and tee blocks behind the previous temp teebox. Not a Slammer birdie there yet.
- Notable #2... Today's TC match was between Cable Guy and Lynksy. It was to see who would advance in the "C" division. Cable Guy persevered 3 and 2.
- Notable #3... EAGLE alert! He has done it again. Twelfth career adds to Malone's lead. It was good enough for a skin today as well, which isn't a given. It happened on hole 17, which has had an EAGLE cut-off before {Tick / TeeDub ... July 4,2010}.
- Notable #4... Malone has back to back 370 yard drives on 14 & 15.
- Notable #5...Thank you Malone for doing double duty as skin master.
- Notable #6... Lynksy has a doggie, I mean two of them, oops sorry starting to look Iron Maiden like as he gets his third. They are on #3 beating Chef by nine inches, #10 beating Malone by a foot, and #15 beating Chef again by six feet.
- Notable #7... Did I mention that there is now good food and BEER for the nineteenth?
- Notable #8... I didn't get to practise today - the driving range only opens at 9:00.

Summary
Well that first hole gave up no pars in the morning event, so I went to check and did you know that there were only 5 pars there all season {and yes - this round is no different}. Gator had the last one on June 15. We went out to play holes 19-36, and as OC I texted our old injured friend Charlie. We need beer I said. I get to the nineteenth and what did i see sitting in front of me? Chef had two glasses of the golden nectar. HOORAY! the license has arrived and now those Gatineau events can be truly enjoyed. The food also looked awesome in the restaurant.

Only once in his 56 event career has Big Guy gone 3-0. That day was August 11,2010 (45 events ago) and the opponents were all D classers {maybe even an E in there}. Today he upset Grumpy on the 13th to move ahead 12-11-3 in their career. Two holes later he took down a "C" classer Lynksy to avenge his prior loss to him and make them 1-1. Then on the final hole he beat "B" classer Cable Guy. Holes 3-9 inclusively {seven holes} were all pars and sure was great to watch. When a "D" classer plays a round with no 8 maxes then he can take pride that his 86 was REAL!. Hey Papa Malone your Ottawa Sun Scramble partner is getting ready. Maybe he will share his bucket of balls that he won from Karters Korners as our first star today. |

There is a new number one on the tour. Malone took down Burnsy on seventeen when he Eagled to take back the top ranking, thus bringing his record to 7-9-3 against the fiery one. Along the way he defended against pointZero on the 14th, and one hole later he upset his worst adversary and Sun Scramble partner Chef. |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you. Today is his sixteenth birthday, and this rookie comes out to take on the Dee brothers. He beats DeeWayne 5 and 4, and then allowed DeeJay back into the match for a draw. Along the way his birds on 8 & 11 were both good for skins. Mom came along to give the tour her blessing about him competing. She put up entry bones and allowed him to keep the 24 Evolution Physio ones in return. Apparently FrenchHooligan recruited him to come out for team Quebec, and we are wondering about this english speaking Ontarian qualifying. |
