Juice and Chef defeat Toothfairy and Spud in their mixed TC match.
Popeye defeats Sunny in their TC match.
The Game defeats Poutine in their TC match.
MeekaGolf defeats Pipeline in their TC match.
Woodsy is an awesome 3-0 but is notably the loser with Chef in a "blind" match.
Everybody played the ball down today, not just Chef.
Grumpy moved into the first group at the last minute and helped set such a great pace of play even the cart girl couldn't catch them.
Juice was playing in her 66th event in her 6th season overall in which she is 6 wins and 6 losses. On the 6th hole she had a...5
Best dressed golfer was OldSpice who wore a blue Slammerhat, blue Slammershirt and long blue slacks.
Thanks to MeekaGolf for collecting our bones prior to the round and taking an extra 2 minutes before distributing Tanco Doggie winnings worth $25 each to Chef, OldSpice, ToothFairy and MeekaGolf himself.
Thanks to Grumpy for calculating, tabulating and presenting Evolution Physiotherapy skins worth $20 each to Chef, Popeye, OldSpice, Woodsy and Pipeline.
Just a reminder that when your own golfball hits you during the playing of a stroke, you lose the hole with a maximum score of 8, and you may as well either tend the flag sheepishly for your group or go to the next tee and meet the Slammers already there, begging for a different ruling which will always fall on unsympathetic ears.

Summary
One of our favourite venues for Slamming was once again in perfect shape in spite of 7" of rain in the last 24 hours, and threatening forecasted tornadoes. The course drained, it wasn't even windy, and 20 Slammers bathed in sunscreen feasted on our golfing passion.

	Chef
	Chef was paired with Juice in a TC mixed event and while they won that, he also went 2-0 in his matches with a dog, a skin and 8 birdies, all while having to play the ball "down". He is especially challenged from the white tees as it brings so much more trouble into play, but he persevered to 1st star. He wins a golf bag full of prizes made up of a cell phone device suitable for kitchen use, a large bucket at Karters Korners driving range and some white tees, commemorative of every tee box. Chef reminds us that he gets another go from the white tees soon !
	Popeye
	Popeye learned today that although the rules of golf generally stipulate your shot be played in 45 seconds, we do it in 30. He promised to abide by this next outing. This event he went 3-0, won his TC match against higher ranked Sunny, and 10 holed another competitor. He also won a skin, and for all of this, he is a superlative 2nd star ! He wins a cell phone device, not to be used in cool pick-up trucks.
	Turtle
	Turtle smiles benignly as he lulls his group to sleep, then takes them to the turtle pond where he basks on victory x 3. Resplendently dressed in red, he reads all of PokerFace's "tells" and takes their TC match. He is awarded a well deserved 3rd star and gets his cell phone device which can neatly be stored in his shell !
