- Our most adorned Pearl has been playing with much pain this season. Trouble usually comes with bad weather. Ticklar had to withdraw after the 9th hole and the good sport that he is, apologized to his playmates, gave them their five bones, and sadly had to depart.
- Although he isn’t in the field, I would like to tip my hat to Chef. Yesterday at eQuinelle, we all heard about his eight skins and score of 67, BUT did you know how he marked a doggie ball that was five inches from the cup? His ball was in front of the cup, he measured it and marked the exact same distance behind the cup, thus not blocking the hole for somebody to get inside. What a sport!
- ‘Tis true, Grumpy has a 2 and another 2 for his 3rd 2 this weekend. His two birds and a dog earned him 49 bones.
- Cuba (62), drove Grumpy (49), and Smitty (37- one dog and one skin) home. Therefore all but 36 bones went back to Ottawa in the same vehicle.

Summary
Once again, the weatherman loses to Slammer Tour. Threats, cloud covers, neighbouring storms, and yes, a few raindrops. The Tour went on with most Slammers having to open their umbrellas for two short spurts. Another victory on the course today was Guinness’ triumph over his imminent early departure. Stents and stones may bring no bones, but STsp –Slammer Tour staying power ever prospers. A Guinness all around! Friendly staff, empty course, and less than normal bug activity made for a great Sunday afternoon. Sorry to see Ticklar in pain (maybe it was that 1st quote), and a quick departure by Zenantics (I have your hat), but a good time can still be had at the Loch's 19th. I thought only KidsClub, Pommie, and Gazzif enjoyed this 19th with Stevie Ray.
