TC "A" MATCH UPDATE: Woodsy will play another day taking down Pipeline and advancing
TC "B" MATCH UPDATE: Battle of the "DJ's" as DJD wins the match over DeeJay to advance
TC "D" MATCH UPDATE: BreadMan will advance to the second round with the win over Grumpy
DOGGIES: Playing East and South we were offered up five doggies with two going to KaDaver (#7 East, 21ft & #2 South, 9ft) and one each to Ticklar (#3 East, 3ft), Intruder (#9 East, 7ft) and Old Spice (#8 South, 5ft) @ 16 bones each
SKINS: It was a 7-11 kind of day ( 7 skins, 11 bones each) with two going to DJD and one each to KaDaver (par skin on #6 South), Old Spice, PointZero, Brewcee and Ticklar
NOTABLE: Group 3 records four upsets and now all sit in the top 10 of the Slammer ranks (side-notable: IronMaiden thanks you for that!!)

Summary
A relatively cool day on the course with temps in the low 20's as sixteen Slammers united at Outaouais today. There was evidence that the storm that came through yesterday evening was violent in the Rockland area with many downed trees and branches scattered throughout the course. The ground crews will certainly be hard at work this week with the chainsaws preparing for the upcoming Canadian Men's Amateur Championships. As per usual, the winds were gusty and at times a little scary under the dark clouds that blew through today, but no rain came down and the looming clouds passed through without incidence. Some absolutely steller displays of fine golf play by some of these Slammers today...as per the Slammer tag line "Some of these guys are good!". And finally, congrats to KaDaver for taking the #1 position on the Slammer totem pole!

	KaDaver is our new #1! Defending against OldSpice and recording the upset wins over Pipeline and Woodsy, KaDaver has been stripped of all powers to challenge! A new numero uno is in the house! With one bird that was cutoff, he still pulled off a par skin on the challenging #6 South...and popped two doggies in his pocket to take home to Sandy....who is the most thoughtful caring wife in the entire world! Today would not have even been possible if it weren't for Mrs KaDaver...who shared her beloved with us on this, their Anniversary day. Congrats to you both!
	DJD
	With some serious foot pain, DJD had initially bailed late last night from todays event but signed back in this morning to complete his TC match that was scheduled at Outaouais today....and I bet he's happy with his decision! His foursome described DJD as being "On Fire" today and the stats back up this claim. He records 2 birds and goes 3-0 defending against Brewcee and winning both matches against PointZero and DeeJay...DJD is now in the top 10 of the Slammer ranks. Well done!
	Ticklar
	Ticklar had some fatherly duties to attend to today but with all well at home he signs up for today's event as he is driving towards Outaouais ... and arrives on time to fill out the first foursome of the day. Going 3-0 defending against BreadMan and Grumpy, Ticklar records one upset win against Pouf to climb 10 spots closer to KaDaver. Two birdies, one skin and a tiddy little doggie on #3 East nets this Slammer some cool stats and hot dough. Nice!
