 Notables - TC update. Fourth season times six events, Grumpy picks up first ever TC victory. Grumpy and BaxJuice defeat their parent/child opponent and move on to face Sunny and SunnyBoy in the ELITE EIGHT. By the way, Grumpy also lost with partner NumberOneSon to the aforementioned BaxJuice

- In March, we had a shoeless Hacker. Today, last four and a half holes, we had a shirtless Slammer, who was soon to be clubless. NumberOneSon lost three clubs. They were all found!
- Group One's summary sheet showed a draw between Pommie and The Enigma. After all data was entered and verified, Pommie actually won 4 and 3.
- Sutty did not get is nick name from being so subtle.

Summary
Threatening weather warnings. Horrible driving conditions. Visibility poor. Forty kilometers an hour on The Queensway. Somebody had to pull over. Dragonfly arrival to sunny, warm ideal golfing. Slammers 1, Mother Nature 0. All 12 Slammers tee off on No. 1 and go on their way. Two hours later, Mother Nature evens the score, with everybody between the 9th and 10th greens. Forty five minute hiatus, including a return to the clubhouse by the lead group. Wet behind the ears is usually reserved for rookies. Today all Slammers were. The rains stop, overcrowded patrons look weird as OC announces to Slammers "okay Slammers, time to get ready, lift, clean and place, let's go!". Visits to car trunks, many changed wardrobes, some weird looking combinations, including questionable golf attire. Please go to our Facebook page and see the picture of Fowler. He had to change shirts and maybe to the chagrin of his namesake Ricky. But he looked very much like a poster boy to the Commish's colour scheme.

Near flawless record of 2-0-1 for five points gives us today's first star. His 78 was not the weather but was the best. When he upset Intruder, he jumped 60 rungs on the ladder. His two birds, three skins and a dog added to all his personal stats. Although this had no bearing on the star choice, please see the final Quotable on the left. |

Shooting the same score as he did Friday at the Royal Oak Kick Off day, against two thirds of the same opponents, NoCents picks up his second straight second star. His three birdies were good enough for two skins. |

Playing against a D and two Fs, this young ball striker easily went 3-0, adding a member to BullDog's TP Club. Along the way, Fowler had three birds (too bad that the downpour came just before his 40 foot eagle putt), one skin and a dog. Grumpy got to see locations for blue tees that he was unaware of, especially on holes 5, 7 and 12. |
