- Watching Rio’s second shot of the day, standing on the rocks in the water, many lesser skilled golfers couldn’t help but wonder why didn’t he just take a drop where the ball entered the hazard.
- First group’s pace of play was under 4.5 hours. They would have been much faster if they didn’t have to look for Pommie’s balls.
- Rexall and Rusty were both added late to the roster and went home with no wins (editor’s note: after checking the score cards closely, Rusty did in fact upset Wally). All groups came in before dusk. THANK YOU!

Summary
Another beautiful Stonebridge day of golf. A lot of Slammer activity on the practice green. The Doggie Master collecting the Tan Co. bones, and everybody wondering about Pommie’s non activity at 10:00 the night before. PukeyJ in the yellow pants, and Rio in the pink pants both sported identical blue Oakley belts and we have the picture to prove it, and as soon as Grumpy figures out how to send it, it will be on our facebook album. A full slate of 20 Slammers enjoyed some good hearted jibes on the opening tee, a couple of balls in the water, but nobody in the rough on the left, and not an eight among us. In a rare occurrence, Ottawa Sun Scramble partners, Rexall and Wally both went 0-3. Although Wally had a 0-3 before (including a loss to Rexall), this was Rexall’s first ever. Davestator was clearly the Super Senior of the day. Once again, PukeyJ and his organization, Firefighters for Kids, donates the prizes for the three stars. Thank you Prime Minister!
