Summary
Four Slammers came out in the searing heat, settled a couple of TC matches, and through the Slammer Tour donated $13.50 to Children's Wish !

C'mon, Pepi worked until midnight then didn't drink when he got home, went to bed early but couldn't sleep, and had to put up with Cuba, SlapShot and Bulldog all day ! He won 2 out of 3 matches, had only one 3 putt, took an A player to the 17th in a TC match where the A played from the white tees, and had his drive of the year on the 13th hole. He let his cart careen down a steep hill and it wasn't his fault the score card was lost when it veered right and tipped. He tipped Marla the server at our table generously, and it wasn't his fault again that the toonie tip fell through the decking of the patio into a locked area below. Lastly, his off season plan is to rehab his back at Evolution Physio, our sponsor for Skins, in September, before curling season. Assuming he got home safely.....first star ! |
