Summary
It was an outstanding day for golf as twelve Slammers participated in one of the best golfing days this year so far. Temperature at tee off was a sparkling 25C and sunny and that temperature held up well throughout the evening. The course was in great shape considering all the hot, dry weather lately...very lush and green from the first tee all the way through the 18th green. Great weather, great course conditions, and great times had by all...a TRIFECTA of golfing pleasure!

Our first star went shooting for bear today and definitly was not trying to pet the cat! BearCat goes undefeated at 2-0-1, cards THREE birdies, bags two skins and tops off his day with a doggie. He takes home $62 in prize money and an Ottawa Senators golf towel for being the first star. Well Done! |

Our second star went undefeated as well with a 2-0-1 record. He just misses taking out the #9 ranked Slammer to poke his nose into the top ten as Casselview #18 claims another victim. Irons also takes home a doggie for a pretty succesful day. Well Done! |

Our third star today cards a score well below his scoring average even after carding a Slammer Max but was able to help balance that out with his birdie. Cuba goes undefeated at 3-0-0 and is the only Slammer to take home the full six points. Great job! |
