 Notables - The only TC Match today is in the ‘C’ Division. Top seeded KidsClub had a successful defense of #20 BearCat, moving on to the Final Four. KidsClub’s next opponent is Number 7, Garbo and Snake meet in the other semi-finals.
- Pace of play – all groups did very well today. The slowest group came in under four and a half hours.
- TadPole went to bed last night as #2. Without even playing, he awakes this morning at #5. Look at tomorrow's results and see how he was almost upset by Pommie to drop another notch. Gravity works well in the Slammer Tour, especially when #1 goes 0-3. Woodsy has played in 44 events in his two year career. This was his first 0-3 day.
- Raker has his 1st ever two birdie (6th and 8th holes) event. Along with yesterday’s birdie on #9, that makes three birdies in his last 18 holes.
- A very big thank you to the three volunteers that helped make today's event a success. Rexall and Woodsy for their combined doggie mastery, and BearCat who stepped in at the last minute to do a growling/meowing rendition of the skin report.
- #1 goes 0-3. Woodsy has played in 44 events in his two year career. This was his first 0-3 day... yes this is intentional

Summary
We all started in the 70s by Fahrenheit today. Billiards, Rexall and Anguel are in their 70s. Shooting in the 70s were Chef, Ticklar, Rexall and Pouf. Still living in the 70s are Mapper, Monkee and Hammer. Raker left Germany in the 70s. Then there are those Slammers whose IQ is in the 70s. This rare eQuinelle weekday event saw a full roster of 20 Slammers show up to do battle. First victim was Papa Malone, who, after falling this morning in a household accident, gallantly tried to play. He didn’t make it past halfway down the first fairway. He did however leave Grumpy a cigar for the back nine.

During the tee off introductions, the crowd oohed and ahhed that Ticklar had won his 1100th match last Saturday. He is now 104 ahead of his brother Chilly. Well add three more. Today he took down his Sun Scramble partner, KaDaver (bringing their career record to 16-16-4) on the 16th hole. Then he upset #1 Woodsy, and on the 18th hole, he also upset #6 Chef. You guessed it, Ticklar is #1 again! One of his three birds was good enough for a skin. |

In his inaugural Slammer event, Fodder leaves a doggie ball on his very first par 3, although it doesn’t hold up – it lasts for four groups. He did collect a skin for his birdie on #12. He went undefeated to start his career at 3-0. On the 1st tee, he stated his handicap was 5, he was welcomed and told to hit from the blues. He upset Billiards on hole #14, to move up to 195. On the 18th hole, his par was good enough to defeat Anguel, and also to upset DeeJay, to move into the top 10... for now. Halifax’s loss is the Slammer Tour’s gain. Welcome to Ottawa! |

Somebody’s Sun Scramble partner goes 3-0 today, for only the 2nd time in his 29 event career. His two upsets were against TC 'C' opponents, KidsClub and BearCat. It looks as though Gator has left the ‘D’ division forever, having his 5th straight sub 100 game. If Cuba was here, he would have awarded Gator as the most stylin Slammer today. In his absence, Chef did the nominating. |
