Summary
Mountain Creek rocks! Today we teed off on the back 9 because there was a twilight event begining at 9:00PM (candles, camp fires and glow balls and buffet $35, idea for a Slammer event?). After the drought, things have come back quite nicely at Mountain Creek. Greens are smooth and fairways quite green. 12 Slammers made the trek to Arnprior and were not disappointed. Though things moved slowly, all groups were in close matches, and the thought of cold beverages on the patio made us stay the course. The free Italian snack plates provided by Jonathan were awesome. Still 3 months to go Slammers! Lets get out there.

I'm starting to think that WeeWillie is a member here. He always throws together a nice round when he plays The Creek. With 2 birds, a dog and a skin, WeeWillie defeated Deter and Billiards, and nabbed the #22 rank from HSR. Well done long driver Man! |
