POP was great with four of the five groups coming in in under 4hrs 15min
TC Ladies "B" MATCH UPDATE: ToothFairy takes the match against SmallPak and will advance to the finals to take on Chill for the title
DOGGIES: Four doggies with very little sharing going on as Smitty takes three and IronMaiden one worth 21 bones each
SKINS: A total of five skins with one each to ZenGirl (chip in birdie from 38ft on #2), Hacker (bird, #7), Zenantics (bird, #12), Swanny (bird #14) and Smitty (bird, #16) @ 16 bones a piece
Thank you to our doggie master Smitty for volunteering for the task....and to PizzaMan, who was "voluntold" to handle the skins mastery duties

Summary
Having the course to ourselves is certainly one of the prime bonuses of Slamming on a forecasted rainy day and today the five groups made the rounds in great time despite the constant mist on the front nine...and the steady relentless rain that fell on the back. It was estimated that collectively, we wore a total of 50 layers of gear...laundry duties await! Tomorrow, it will be October...the leaf rule will take effect, tee times will start later to avoid the frost delays....and earlier to enable all to finish in daylight. But Fall is such a terrific time of year and the fun on the course and in Slammerland seems to intensify. Delivering the event wrap up was a bit of a challenge for all presenters as the Ryder cup was playing on the bar television...congrats to Team Europe for their phenomenal play and historical come-back!

	Zenantics
	Zenantics was up to his same ol' antics today taking down both ZenGirl and Hacker on the 14th hole...I think he had a side bet with ZenGirl and was playing for the right to keep the "Zen" in his Slammer nickname. With some super steady play, one bird was good enough to earn him a skin and first star honours! Congrats!
	Swanny
	Swanny still makes us all hum that little swanee song but he made his opponents sing the blues as he goes undefeated with the upset win over Irons and defends against ShortStack. Swanny records the bird on the tricky little #14 which earns him the skin. Well done!
	ProZee
	ProZee is always right at home as he plays Casselview, the home of the Commish cup, that little course east of Ottawa where he has captained Team East to victory not once, but twice in his term as captain of the "Navy". Today was no walk in the park though as he faced some tough competitors and upsets all three....taking down Pipeline, Smitty and Crenshaw. One birdie and a big jump in the Slammer ranks takes ProZee to #3! Nice!
