- Doggies today are worth 15 bones, and go out to PizzaMan on #13, ZenGirl on #7, Popeye on #5, and .... WAIT FOR IT ... IronMaiden on #3.
- A very NOTABLE goes out to IronMaiden. Her doggie ball on hole #3 didn’t stay there last Sunday. Today, ‘Eddie’ did remain throughout the groups. If you follow the Tour, you will know that the doggie race has been led by IM all year. This is only the 2nd time that anybody has had 47 in a season (Chilly set the record in 2006), and with 22 days remaining in the season, there is still time. This NOTABLE is not finished. Hole #3 was a trifecta for IronMaiden, and that birdie was her 50th of the season. It was only the 30th time that a Slammer had 50 birdies in a season. IronMaiden is the 13th Slammer ever to do so (remember that some Slammers have done it more than once - her TC Mixed partner - Ticklar - six times}. The Slammette record is now at 50, the total of the 2nd and 3rd most birdies in a season by a Slammette is 54.

Summary
In the parking lot when we arrived a foursome coming off 18 told us how fortunate they were to get done before the weather came in. Ha ha, it was good for us as well, wink wink, just like Chill said to you Margaret. We were amazed that the kitchen staff came out to meet us on the course. We were surveyed as to whether or not we wanted them to remain open. Although the field was small, we had three of the top ten playing today. Would there be movement? Would there be records, milestones, and/or toilet paper distributed?

PizzaMan had his second lowest score of the year and upset Juice 6 and 5, to become the new #4. Along the way, he added BearCat to the ten hole club. He also upset Steamer 3 and 2, and had two birdie skins. The second was on hole #13, where he accomplished the 30 bone trifecta. |

This rookie playing in her 34th event, has her best ever Slammer round, that despite a Slammer max snowman on hole #6 and a 7 on hole 10. She successfully defended against Grumpy and IronMaiden,. Her upset of ZenGirl, 4 and 3, moved her into 7th ranking. This is Chill’s 8th time going 3-0. (Better than 1 in 4). Along the way she had two birdies and a skin. |
