NOTABLE: 3 of the 4 Rookies with the most events played this season were here today. Gator with 41 events, BigTee with 30 events and Irons with 26 events. All three have become welcome fixtures of the tour. Congrats!!

NOTABLE: The biggest jump in rankings today was a move from 209 to 40 by Billiards after taking out his son, Stevie Ray, by going 2 up on 18. Well done and Congrats!!

DOGGIES: Some of these guys are good particularly those that won puppies which were worth 13 bones per. Doggies winners were Woodsy on 2 @ 8ft, Dazed on 7 @ 39 ft, and Chef winning two on 13 and 16 @ 24 and 8 ft respectively. Well done!!

EVOLUTION PHYSIO SKINS: Yes sirree, mam, it was a four skin par day and the fifth skin won with a birdie. Thats stretching a four skin. Skins were won by Chef with 2 and singletons going to Dazed, BigTee and Irons. Niccccccccce!!

Summary
It was one of those unpredictable fall days where the forecast called for rain in the late afternoon but the Slammers wished for and got an enjoyable, glorious, sunny and rain-free afternoon. Perfect conditions and leaves turning color to gold, amber and red making for a perfect afternoon for fall golf. With these perfect conditions, only 1 Slammer shot below their scoring average. But we play match play golf where match outcomes are important and scoring only affects ones vanity and scoring average. Lots of great match play golf out there today. And yes, we sat on the patio for awhile to enjoy Loch March BBQ and beer, beer, beer as the Slammer TOur Doggie, Skins and Star reports were provided. More beer to close off another successful SLammer Tour event!!

We often joke that Chef had another routine day at the office but his consistency and routine is so much better than the rest of us. Chef taking 1st star wins all his matches, advances to the TC Open Championship finals and has a double trifecta. Yes, he scores 2 birdies, 2 doggies and 2 skins. Routine for Sir Chef but magic for the rest of us. He so good against the field that he takes home 1st star. He is so consistent in his scoring that he wins our admiration. Great round and congratulations!! |

This young puppy had magic in his game today. Not a long ball hitter, Potter play strategically taking advantage of his accuracy and being always on the fairway. He goes 3-0-0 and takes down Dazed, KidsClub and Gator. Potter with his magic jumps to rank #13. And he drives in from Brockville to play on the Slammer Tour. Well done, sir!! |
