 Notables - Yesterday, IronMaiden tied Chilly's SlammerTour record for most Doggies in a single season at 47. Today, like yesterday, the drama ended on the first par 3 as she finally broke through and became the Slammer Tour's Top Dog with her 48th Doggie. And, for all you nay-sayers, she accomplished her record setting feat today from the WHITE tees. Three cheers for the Doggie Bi&h!

Summary
There are only three official Slammer weeks left people. What's wrong with a little rain. Well 11 brave souls accepted the challenge and were treated to some beautiful weather. Well, not really , but it was far better than what we all expected. Today at Manderly, we crowned a TC Champ, set a slammer record, and added 2 more non 'A' Classer into the top 10. A great day on the Slammer Tour!

He wears this moniker with pride and today he fit the bill. The Enigma earned first star honours today. Here's why 1. Became TC'D' champ with his 4 and 3 victory over Pommie. 2. Defeated IronMaiden (2 wins out of 10 attempts this year (both at Manderly), can you say Nemesis) vaulting him into the top 10. 3. A birdie-skin on hole #14 (5 South). Congratulations, Champ! |

Speaking of monikers, this Rookie hit the nail on the head with his Slammer name. The look, the accent, the birthplace...Well I guess the lack of sunlight served him well as Dracula took a bite out his opponents today. These guys should have taken some garlic to help bring down this new Slammer. His victims included Grumpy on 12, Intruder on 16, then PizzaMan on 17 to take the #4 Slammer Tour rank. His back nine included just 2 bogies and a birdie making it difficult for his opponents to gain any momentum. And, that birdie was good for a skin. Bine f?cut! |

Smitty, The only 'A' Classer in today's field, came out and played like it. He was matched up against Irons and Duke today, and in fact, they were no match as Duke fell victim 5 and 4 while Irons was toppled 2 up on the 17th. Smitty also had a par-skin on 3 North which helped him lock up 3rd star honours. Way to go, Schmitty! |
