Pace of Play: All groups were clearing the 18th in under 4 hours today with the first couple of groups making the round in 3 1/2 hrs. Nice effort by everyone.
DOGGIES: It was tough getting the ball to hold the greens today and doggies reflected that with only two holes ceding today. Old Spice takes hole #3 (21ft) and Wally takes hole #9 (18ft) @ $32 per.
Note: With IronMaiden in the final group, and having three of the par 3s free and clear of any doggie balls, there was some concern that she might be in danger of dehydration as she salivated like a rabid dog at the prospect of adding to her yearly total. Sadly even she couldn't solve the tough greens today.
SKINS: A total of five skins on the day: two for Old Spice (#1 & #13), one each for The Game (#3), PointZero (#5) & Blue (#18) @ $12 per.
Thanks to IronMaiden for her role as DoggieMaster and to Pommie for his ability to adjust the skins report on the fly. Great job!

Summary
It was another good golf day at Canadian. Despite the course not permitting golfers on the course until 11am due to "frozen" greens, they got the Slammers off on time. As well, the restaurant remained open for us afterwards serving a variety of "tasty" beverages and excellent hot beef sandwiches. While some Slammers might question whether the greens had actually thawed at all it certainly made for an interesting day. Besides, if you're in Ottawa in November and playing golf outdoors, its a bonus. Thanks to all the Slammers who played today. Great competition and, as always, companionship.

	This winner of the 2011 BG Golf-O-Max Cup for the most improved Slammer of 2011 has been struggling of late to find his "A" game. Not today though. While others were trying to figure out how to get their ball to hold the greens this Slammer was blazing his way around the course and posting a score that was 8 strokes ahead of the rest of today's field. PointZero goes 2-0, chalks up a birdie, cashes in on a skin and struts to the top of the podium.
	The Game
	Some people have game, some people bring game and then again some people just are The Game. This slammer has an impressive outing as goes 3-0 in his matches and cashes in a skin as he surges 156 spots in the standings, all the way to lucky #13. The Game struts his way to second star status today.
	Old Spice
	Those who thought they could smell a trace of after shave wafting down the fairways today weren't mistaken. It was Old Spice who got the show on the road by chipping in for birdie on hole #1 and then proceeding to give a "little" fist pump in celebration. While there is no record of any outward signs of emotion with his 2nd birdie it is believed that a slight grin was noticed. Going 2-1, taking 2 skins and a dog, Old Spice can add 3rd star honours to today's tally.
