Summary
The summer of two thousand triziteen is winding down and what better way to celebrate and bring in the next season, at eQuinelle. Five groups of Slammers were lucky enough to enjoy a perfect warm day with pristine course conditions and a 19th hole that was attended by all twenty Slammers. As we rounded the turn to the 18th tee box today we were greeted with a spectacular sunset fit for any postcard with bright orange and reds and rays of light piercing down through the clouds. Red sky at night, sailor's delight? We can only hope this holds true as we head into round one of the EG Club championships tomorrow at Casselview. Good luck everyone!

Our first star was alive and well today as he defended his rank against Swanny and then successfully plucked the newly acquired #5 rank from Sun Scramble partner Ticklar. But the match to watch today was against Cuba as the two went to battle to see who would be the last man standing for the title of 2013 TC Senior Champion. Cuba defended his rank in regulation as they end the first 18 holes in a draw and it takes two more holes to settle the tie - KaDaver comes out with the win and defends his title. A bird that holds for the skin and a tight doggie on the 16th hole top off a great round. KaDaver was his own mental coach today...I can only imagine what goes on in there during a round as stellar as the one he pulled off today. Congrats Champ! |

Bookie has been a member of the Slammer Tour since the beginning of time and today he played one of his personal bests recording his first ever Slammer eagle along with two birdies and walking away with two skins, more than 19 others today in a field where the birdie average was 1.0. Bookie defended against fellow SS rival Rexall and for the second time in their match play history took down Pepilepu for the fiver...I mean the nickel! Stellar! |

Rocco has made an imMEDIATE success of himself in this, his rookie season on the Slammer Tour and today he continues adding stats to his record with three wins for six points. Can we rate this round as a ten? Well, let's see...Today was Rocco's 10th event, he recorded his 9th & 10th bird and one held up for his 10th skin!
