Summary
Welcome to the first day of Summer 2013! Even though it first seemed as though winter would never end and spring would never warm up we have already played a total of 81 Slammer events and today is only the FIRST day of Summer! And it was truely a perfect day with a blue sunny sky overhead, a light breeze to make things interesting and temps in the high twenties. So many new rivalries have already developed and many continue from season to season. Bring on the sun!

PizzaMan rolled out onto the first fairway with his sights on Stymie's rank and Stymie planned his entire weekend around today's match even bailing for other events to recover from this anticipated battle and a battle it was. PizzaMan was down until the eleventh hole but went birdie birdie birdie making his move and finishing off the match 3 and 2. PizzaMan also defended against The Game and Philll and the three birdies he recorded in succession stood up for the three skins and 3/4 of the skins pot. Congrats! |

DJD is looking to earn his spot on Team East and just fell short of taking Brewcee's top five ranking as they went all square on the day. He did succeed in taking PointZero's top 10 rank however and defended against Pukey J in the process. With one bird and some solid play DJD also pops a tight doggie ball close to the pin on the 16th green. Very strategic was this placement as it was tucked in below the ridge on the right hand side making the Slammers that followed believe that all they had to do was hit the green to get the doggie. NOT! Well done! |

chill was steady and on the mark today as she defends her rank against rookies HullAss and 2BrosGolf. chill will be representing tomorrow at the Brockville challenge and was out today to defend her 2012 Ladies TC B title taking on Precious in the second round match-up of this year's Ladies B division...and she succeeds in moving on to the third round. Well done! |
