Summary
It only took a quick perusal of the event sign up page for Mountain Creek today to know that this was going to be an interesting day on the Slammer Tour with a whole slew of Open and A classers heading up (and down!) the valley to do battle. And the very first Tour Championship matches of the 2013 season took place with Chilly vs Rulz and Hitch vs Bugsy setting the tone for this deep and well appointed Open TC bracket. Congrats to Chilly and Hitch for making it past the first round.

	Chef has been cooking and serving up some serious match play competition this spring and it's not a new thing for this Slammer to come out on top in a regular field but today we had a super stoaked field of ... how did Chef put it in the comments section of the event sign up page? "Holy strong field batman!" and "Dogs and Skins will be earned today!". Well this Slammer showed the field that he could shine under the toughest of conditions and came out on top defending his number 1 rank against Burnsy, Albatross and Ticklar with 2 birds that held up for the skins. Congrats!
	McGoop
	McGoop joined the Slammer family this year and so far he has held an 81 percent win average and went undefeated today to better that. He entered today's event with CreekPro and Chilly looking to take his rank but defended handily and recorded the upset against our own Commish. With one bird, thirteen pars and four single bogeys you can do the math and he took the doggie home from hole #14 positioning it 16ft in front of the pin. Well done!
	Woodsy
	Woodsy got a vote for best dressed Slammer today but he was not just a pretty face out there. Woodsy defended against Burrrhead and recorded the upset wins against Bugsy and Hitch moving from #11 to #7 in the Slammer ranks. One birdie and six points will be added to his stats page. Watch for more interesting match ups between Woodsy and Hitch as this was the second meeting between these two with both going to the 18th. Nice !
