Notables

PizzaMan beat Sunny in a closely contested TC match
Hacker defeated Intruder in an even closer TC match.
Not only was the par 3 17th hole not dogged, the soul par, by IronMaiden, stood up for a skin !
Best dressed Slammer in the event was Hubby, who won the customary Cuban cigar.
Best dressed non Slammming Slammer playing at the course was Pearls, voted by all but the OC who obstained due to potential conflict of interest protest.
Best "smoker" was SuperSy, who won a pack of low end Cuban Cigarettes.
Thanks to the People of Cuba for the bottle of genuine Cuban rum awarded to Comrade Hacker as 1st star.
Special note of admiration to Woodsy who got into the event at the last minute and defended his #1 ranking.
Thanks to PizzaMan for gathering the Slammermarkers from the par 3's hit and presenting the Culligan Doggie bones to SuperSy, Woodsy, Ozone, Sunny and The Enigma.
Thanks to IronMaiden for calculating and presenting the Evolution Physio skins to herself,for a par, Ozone for a birdie and Hubby for an eagle.
IronMaiden notably played in her 399th Slammer event today. Her next is the Fabulous 400th and she will shortly thereafter be fitted for a pair of custom footjoys, travelling with her family all expenses paid to San Fransisco to get them.
She won't fly so they will be on the road in their Slammermobile for several weeks.....
Grumpy was in the first group of this 2 pm event and made it to Bluesfest by 7 p.m.
No members of Commishes Cup winning Team Quebec were in the event.
Team Cuba had thrown down the gauntlet to no avail.
Nobody aced the 1st hole so the car parked on the tee box was not given away.

Summary
It was the hottest day of the year, so we decided not to focus on the ridiculously hot and humid. dehydratingly windless scorcher of an afternoon. We just slammed !

	Hacker was hottest ! He carried his clubs, won his TC match, shot well below his average and was 3-0 !
	Ozone
	The new #4 defeated PizzaMan, Cuba and Sunny by keeping the big #'s off his card and thereby putting money in his wallet. He also went golfing thereby getting out of moving preparations. Thanks Kerri !
	GoTee (r)
	Go-Tee defended his rank and went 2-0-1 in doing so. He is a solid player who went out and got it done . Slammerfull !
