 Notables - chill wins TC match over Juice in the Ladies Open Division
- MILESTONE ALERT - when Iron Maiden beat Gator today she earned her 1500th career point and is only the fourth Slammer to do so.
- Here is the scenario, it is that looooong hole 16. Gator’s drive goes right. Right into the forest! Drop two, hit three. Then hit next shot to the 100 yard stake. 102 yards out - he jars it for a par.
- At introductions - The Enigma was asked if he would get his 100th career win or 200th career loss today ... the win will have to wait, he lost his 200th today.
- chill collected the bones today and did the Culligan Water doggie report. THANK YOU!
- ShortStack did the Dynamic Chiro and Physio skin report and surprise - he added some Big Thunder to it.
- I want to apologize to all of the #1s - that I had told - you have to defend IF you become number (to win your hat) one without playing a fellow classman. I have been wrong for so long and have NOW been corrected.
- Ever see two grown men jump and scream. If you want to then drive a cart near the Mother Goose nest! When she comes out squawking, they almost quit golf.
- Only five upsets and not a lot of movement. The one biggest one was when Tesla beat The Enigma to move from #115 to #68. Vaulting him 47 steps up the ladder.
- As a last notable, Grumpy highly recommends if you play back to back days in the ’valley’ - that you spend the night at the Lochiel Street Bed & Breakfast.

Summary
Good morning - we are at the very scenic Whitetail, and all the golfers are here. Ryan was asked - where is Derek {Diesel on the Tour}. "He is here but doing the weed wacking out on the course." I didn't believe him until I saw Derek busy at it - trying to control that pesky Poison Ivy. There was a rumour that number one was going to be in the house. Where is he - What happened! Hey Slammers - forget the drive factor. Make it an event and check out Whitetail. I LOVE IT, and it seems to be getting better and better each time.

Are you people at home noticing how many times that she is the star? Today she wins the Painter hat donated by the Weed Wacker. Back to golf and we see that chill played Juice today in their 26th career match. The special thing about this one - their first ever TC match. chill advances to the next round with her victory. Also falling to #6 are X-Man & Lucky (albeit both on the 18th - but that is her style). The win over Lucky brings their career to an even 1-1 record. Along with the three matches and the hat, chill won a dog and had two skins. Now at 8-1 since the Chef upset, to be continued this afternoon. THANK YOU WHITETAIL for the prize for our first star! |

Three and OH, 1 bird good for a skin. What a trooper this Slammer is. He arrives as he is setting up golf bags and such, he hears a conversation about someone NOT wanting to challenge him. He doesn't get into the debate, quietly allows the conversation and then starts his round. He shakes hands with the Enigma after 14, with Tesla after 17 and moves up the ladder with his par on eighteen. This win over Shorts avenged his 12th hole loss of a week ago. Pepperoni Boy never led today, until the 15th hole. |

Another 3-0. How does that go? ‘you can’t soar with eagles when you hang around with turkeys’. With apologies to Iron Maiden & Gator (both did shoot higher than their median by six), and that other guy in the foursome – FORGET IT! Back to our star. This B player – played a B (that shot a C score), and a C and a D. Big Thunder? Shot an A score with very very few errors. Look below and see that he finished us off on holes 11-11-12. Three Slammers that were not at the event also had a chat with Stacker today. First Pommie, then both Goose and Turtle (pics available) had an effect on his bogey on hole five. |
