Summary
The second round of a double header today at Metcalf. The weather wasn't balmy by any means but it was very comfortable, especially for the mosquito's! 6 of the 16 Slammers played 36 holes and had a great time doing it. These double headers are becoming quite popular. Metcalf graciously donated three prizes for the three stars for the PM round and a big thanks goes to the course for doing so. Point Zero caps off a stellar day with 2nd star in the PM round after taking down first star in the AM round. Two TC Matches were decided with Spud and Sunny moving on in their respective classes. All in all a pretty eventful day of Slamming.

Today's first star had a solid round going 3-0 making quick work of his opponents taking down Flyer on the 12th, Spud on the 16th and winning his TC "B" match against Ace on #13. Along the way he carded two birdie's that both held up for skins. As first star, Sunny takes home a Metcalf hat graciously donated by Metcalf Golf Club. |

Today's second star caps off an outstanding day on the links. He finished as the first star in the AM defending his #5 rank and defends his #5 rank again in the PM going 3-0 taking down Gator on #14, T-Bone on #15, and Stevie Ray on #17. Along the way he carded a Birdie that held up for a skin and took home a Doggie on the long #17. Well done PointZero! |
