Best Dressed Slammer: Pukey J lives up to his name and has everyone gagging on the bright, mustard yellow, yet well coordinated, ensemble. Would have been tough to keep that outfit from sliding right off the catwalk. It takes a confident man to be able to pull off that look!

TC B Matches: Blue takes down Intruder on the 15th hole. Lucky held off a hard charging Deter to win on the 18th hole of the day.

DOGGIES: Five doggies on the day, DeeJay on #2 (15ft), Deter on #4 (15ft), Gator on #6 (13ft), YipMeister on #13 (10ft) and GoTee on #16 (6ft). Each doggie was worth $20.

SKINS: Lion says he's in skins from now on after he opts out and watches two potential wins go by the wayside. Sunnyboy takes one with his eagle, Shortstack takes two, one with a birdie and one with a par on the treacherous 9th, GoTee and ProZee make birdies count to claim the last two. Each skin was worth $19.

Summary
The slammers blew into Manderley today along with some gale force winds. We were to find out rather quickly that the wind was the least of our problems. Seems there was a new trainee greenskeeper who was left to his own devices when setting out the pin placements today. Trainee was the operative word as he forgot to bring the windmill, the giant swinging log and a tunnel or two with him when punched the hole on #9. It was interesting to watch from the middle of the fairway as a Slammer putted his ball past the hole only to watch it roll back down past its original starting position. Sadly he wasn't the only one to suffer that fate. Kudos to the course for heeding our words and calling the greenskeeper at home to come back and fix the circus. Aside from that it was a wonderful day with great company, a birthday and an eagle to celebrate.

Another big day for this rising star of the Slammer Tour. Go figure, GoTee not only goes 3-0 in his matches, spiting out Pukey J, Ozzie and the Commpressor, he posts two birdies, one of which holds up for a skin, and then for good measure he adds another doggie to his year total for a tour leading 22. |

This rookie Slammer bears his fangs once again as he gnaws the competition leaving the carcasses of Blue, Intruder and YipMeister for the buzzards to clean up. Going 3-0 Lion roars his way up 84 spots to number 8. Great round. |

He certainly isn't a rookie and he's played too well over the years to be considered a rising star. However, he is a star none the less. He posts a 2-0-1 record on the day, signs for a couple of birdies and pockets one skins worth of change. ProZee is the day`s 3rd star. |
