Summary
Afternoon event at eQuinelle and it was a hot one! Five Slammers played the 36 holes today and all appreciated the superb conditions offered at eQuinelle. This course is in top condition and the artist's rendition of the new clubhouse is now displayed on a billboard as you enter the parking lot. All I can say is wow! It is going to be a fantastic 19th hole. Can't wait for Slammers to finalize an event on the patio one day soon. Is it a coincidence that eQuinelle is a South Course and that the Southies did so well today? Just the facts man, just the facts.

Woodsy took the #2 position in the Slammer ranks in the morning event and came out to defend in the afternoon and that he did against PointZero, Bugsy and LongIron. The match with PointZero was an OPEN TC Match and so Woodsy is now a member of the elite 8 in this division. A dog on the 8th par three tops off a great full day of golf for this Southy. Congrats! |

This rookie Slammette was playing in her third event today and went undefeated with the upset win against Gazzif and a draw with Bookie. Another Southy in the stars today....Orange Crush may be orange on the outside but she is all green on the inside. A bird and a skin, how awesome is that! Well done! |

Will 14 be the number for this Southy this year ? Yes yet another Southy to be mentioned in the stars. Malone was playing a TC Mixed with Mrs Malone by his side and the only head to head match on the line was with McGoop. These two top Slammers have met only a dozen times before today and Malone had taken the match on only one occasion....today he improves his winning record against McGoop, takes the win, the 2 points, the 5 bones....and has moved into the top 10 qualifiers of Team South! Three birds, two skins and a doggie isn't too shabby either! Nice ! |
