Summary
Well, for those who feared the rain and checked out of the event, not a drop of rain befell the Slammers today..."you gotta believe baby!" Owing to the wet stuff EARLIER in the day, Canadian had a tournament rescheduled for 1pm. No problem though, they shuttled the Slammers out to #13 where we would be in front of the gaggle. We got off to a great start and everyone rolled into the clubhouse in just tad over four hours. Oh, and that supposed clap of thunder that you thought you heard a few holes before we finished, well it was just the skies announcing the new number one Slammer!

Stand aside folks, there is a new sheriff in town! He came out today guns a blazing and with an aim that was true and deadly. He not only out draws Fowler but decides to rob the bank along the way cashing in on two, count'em two, doggies as well as one skin. Going 3-0, all hail the new king of the hill, the big kahuna himself....Pouf! |

Some people thought that it was the high humidity in the air that was causing everyone to sweat so profusely but actually it was the red hot "Chilly" that was part of the day's menu. This Slammer goes 3-0, cripples Cleats in their TC Senior match while laying down four birdies that are good for one skin and cutting off three others. Chilly is the day's 2nd star. |

Any smart politician knows when to show their best hand and the Governor certainly played his well. Tallying two birdies, he confidently waited for the polling results to be announced confirming both as skins. He also wins the TC B match election over Cleats advancing on to the 3rd round. The Governor gets our vote for 3rd star. |
