Summary
The summer is definitely here. With just a few clouds in the sky and the temperature pushing 30, eleven Slammers took to the salubrious environs of The Marshes golf course. A great course, friendly staff, and good food make for a very pleasant experience, regardless of how one scores! Well....maybe GoTee enjoyed it just a tad more than the rest of us!

Sometime it's difficult co choose the First Star. Not today -- it's a no-brainer. GoTee not only goes 3-0 against some good competition, he also picks up two skins and....FOUR -- that's right -- FOUR -- dogs....four in row -- nos. 3, 5, 8, and 12 and none of the dogs were more than 20 feet from the pin. As one Stevie Ray is fond of saying: Splendid!! |

Some Slammers from Central set out to assure their spots in the top ten of their team by knocking off highly-ranked Intruder. BUT Intruder was equal to the task and fended off all would-be pretenders, going 3-0 and capturing two skins as well. |
