- Mountain Creek Membership Contest: As we approached the 14th tee box there was more than just a doggie on the line. Mountain Creek was hosting a contest and Johnathan was there to officiate. Two circles drawn on the green à la Big Break style and this is what was being offered: Hit the green = Free jumbo hotdog - Within the outside circle = 25 % off coupon - Within the smaller circle = 50% off coupon - Hole in One = 2014 Membership. Eleven hot dogs were won by the Slammers. How fun is THAT !
- CULLIGAN DOGGIES: Four doggie holes with only three claimed - IronMaiden (#3, 15ft), Duke (#14, 6ft) and McGoop (#16, 16ft) @ 26 bones each

Summary
A fantastic Victoria day Monday with two sold out Slammer events and perfect mid spring weather conditions. And we have big news to report! For the first time since McGoop took over the #1 position in the Slammer ranks on July 26th, 2013...drum roll please...we have a new #1! An epic match to say the least, Fowler closed out McGoop on the 18th hole at Mountain Creek today and now sits at the top. Fowler is our new #1! Hope our Slammer friends at Chateau Cartier enjoyed the day as much as we did!

Fowler is no longer a junior, no longer a rookie and today was his thirteenth Slammer event and his first kick at the can going for the top position in the Slammer ranks. This first match up between Fowler and McGoop was a beauty! Fowler carded a birdie on the first hole and was three up in the match mid way through the front nine but McGoop battled back and they were all square after the tenth and again after thirteen. On the fourteenth Fowler carded a birdie on the par 3 and then held the one up lead through to eighteen. Two skins held up out of five birdies topping off a spectacular round. And yes, he was wearing Puma. Congrats #1! |

The Game is showing just how much game he can dish out defending his rank against Ozzie and Bubba and recording the upset win over UpnDown. The Game and UpnDown had unfinished business after their first meet up ended in a draw...The Game closed out today's match 6 & 4. Two birds, a skin, six points and 30 bones will be added to his stats. Nice! |
