HOLE IN ONE: Exactly 1 year to the day of the last Slammer Hole in One by Juice, Ace holes out on the 4th hole of the day to claim a pot that has grown and grown and has been the talk of the Tour all season - 1,460 BONES was in the pot when Ace's ball decided that no putt would be required on Manderley Central #4. It was 1:20pm and within minutes the Slammer world was aware that the pot was gone. The stats: 124 yards, 7-iron into a stiff and cool two-club breeze and it was Ace's very first hole in one after 38 years of play. Congrats !
CULLIGAN DOGGIES: Stevie Ray was an excellent doggie master and dished out doggies to Newsy ( #2 Central, 5Ft), #6 Central, 15ft) and one each to Ace with the ACE on #4 Central, Steel Crazy (#4 North, 6Ft) and Habibe, Habibe, Habibe with the last dog of the day (#7 North, 1 ft) @ 16 bones each
REAL FANS SKINS: A total of four skins with one each to Newsy, Ace, Habib and Stevie Ray @ 18 bones a piece

Summary
Manderley was incredible today...truly amazing. The conditions were A-1, the course was super green and even though we only reached a high of 5 every Slammer was prepared to deal with it and deal with it we did. The 19th hole talk confirmed everyone came in happy and warm. And it was a GREAT GREAT day. Especially for our very own ACE who ACED the 4th hole of the day on Central today. Like a Monty Python skit, who's on first, who Aced it? Ace did....But who aced it? Yes, Ace claimed the Hole in One pot that has been dormant since October 17th 2014 when Juice took the last pot at Brockville last year. Exactly one full year to the day. Coincidence, Newsy says I think not. An act of Golf godism yes. Congrats Ace !

	Habib (r)
	Habib is still in his rookie season but it feels like the tour has never existed without him. Habib defended against Steel Crazy and with his upset wins over Ace and Irons now sits in the top 10 of the Slammer ranks. Four birdies were circled on his match play card and he tops off a great day with a dog and a skin. This solid B class bubble players was playing in his 47th event so far this season and his stats are quite impressive...24 birds, an eagle, 11 dogs, 13 skins....an obvious nominee for this year's Ottawa Sun Rookie of the year. Keep up the great play Habib!
	Newsy
	Newsy is not new. He is one of the "originals" and played his first event on record way back in July 2001..check it out ! And, he has played in ten seasons since then with a solid record of match play wins over the years. The most interesting stat is that Newsy has two eagles...yet his first ever skin on record was won today during this event. How is that possible? Well, skins were not computed way back in the day. The first skins were recorded during the 2008 season. But back to today's event where Newsy took down buddies BackFlash and NiceHair, sunk two birdies, stuck two doggies closer than anyone else and took home that first ever skin to add to his lifetime stats. Well done, and come play with us more often !
	Ace
	Ace gets a star for winning the biggest ever Hole in One pot awarded to date! One thousand, four hundred and sixty bones. Wow wow WOW ! Hole #4 on Manderley Central will now forever be a special hole for this Slammer along with his 7 iron that did the trick and earned him this pile of cash accumulated from 145 other Slammers that were all hoping it would be their turn to get a visit from lady luck. But it was the Slammer with the name that matched the deed that did it. Add to this a dog ( 16 bones) and a skin (18 bones)- making this one shot net 1,494 bones in total! Thirty eight years in the making, this hole in one has given Ace the right to continue to use his Slammer nickname for another 38 years. Congrats !!
